"Venting is Air Tight!"

In 15 years and 4 different solutions I’ve never been able to prevent our dryer venting from leaking lint into the room. Had to use on a press on fit to the dryer, which always leaked.  Or a very long hose, which always clogged..

Installed MagVent in 15 minutes. Dryer is now movable for vent cleaning and venting is air tight.

“We purchased a MagVent to help with better positioning of our new dryer. This product is the best ever. We have our dryer closer to the wall now. It is so easy to pull out dryer & push back. I have done it myself with ease. I love that I now have space for my collapsible laundry basket. I will tell everyone about the MagVent. I could be the poster child for MagVent. This is so awesome. Love, love, love. Our old vent (hard to see in pic) never allowed us to be close to wall. The lint was a problem as well. It was easy to install! I am thrilled beyond measure. We had to install a new sink in laundry room. How easy was it to pull dryer out to reach plumbing & then push back?  Oh my gosh, easy peasy. I had to do that several times over several days. You can’t imagine how thankful we were to have the MagVent installed when doing that project!

"Especially cool watching it snap together just like video!"

“I just installed your product. Well made, very easy to install the MV-90 portion. The hardest part was putting the portion on to the dryer itself! Not sure if because ours is a NG dryer the shape of the back of it made it very difficult to attach the clamp. Almost had to go by feel cause I couldn't see the the bolt. Not a problem with your product, just a curvy surface on the back of our dryer!
All in all great product, was especially cool watching it snap together just like video.
Would highly recommend this product  to anyone!

“Hello,
Thank you for creating the MagVent.  I found the product to be high quality and solved my installation issue.  I discovered that my dryer vent was held up by friction only, and the only way to create a better connection was through the MagVent.

Before:
The jointing piece was not secured to neither the dryer or the vent inside the wall, also the vent opening was all the way on the bottom of the wall.

Installing the wall bracket:
I had to cut away the baseboard because the vent was so low on the wall.

Final connection:
There was just enough room to make the flex connection go down about 3 inches from the dryer. The magnet part works perfectly.

“ I didn't take a before photo, but you can see how fun it would be to attach a standard flex pipe to a 1" tall stub sticking out of the floor.  Impossible to attach to the dryer and move it into place without it popping off.  With the MagVent 90, it was a snap (pun intended).  I showed the MagVent to the flooring contractors who were laying our new tile, and they thought it was the coolest thing they'd ever seen.  I just installed it this morning, and I'm already singing its praises!  Thanks for making my life so much easier!”

“I remodeled our laundry room and wanted to switch to front loading laundry machines, the problem was the depth of the room. I needed to have the dryer basically flat against the wall. That is when I saw your ad come up on Facebook. It was perfect for my application. As you can see in the picture, my dryer is almost touching the back wall. The MagVent gave me the clearance I need to have the dryer door open, and still open the laundry room door. I don't have to worry about connecting the vent either. If I need to maintenance the machines I can just pull them out, work on them, then push them back in. It allowed us to maximize our space and have our perfect laundry room.

“I found this item on YouTube and it works great. My dryer is in a tight spot behind bi-fold doors. I have to get the dryer tight to the wall so a conventional vent will not work. It was always a pain to pull the dryer out and try to get it back without destroying the 4” aluminum vent. With this system, I could pull the dryer out if needed and slide it right back into place. “I just finished installing my MV-90. The installation was simple. My dryer is so much easier to pull out for cleaning and servicing. My vent goes through the floor into the crawl space  Prior to installing the MV-90, a large loop of flexible duct was left in the crawl space to allow the required slack for pulling the dryer out. In addition the making it a pain to pull the dryer out, this slack reduced airflow.

With the MV-90 installed, there is no need for slack in the crawl space, so airflow is not restricted and it is super simple to pull the dryer out. After pulling it out about a foot. The dryer automatically detaches itself from the ducting. re-installation of the dryer is just as simple. Push the dryer in, and the magnets align the duct and it attaches.”

"The greatest thing ever for hooking up a dryer vent!"

“A friend showed me the MagVent and I thought it was the greatest thing ever for hooking up a dryer vent. I’ve always complained about how awkward it is to hook up the vent in our laundry cabinet. When he showed me the MagVent I knew that was the answer to my problem. My dryer broke down and when I went to repair it I purchased the MagVent along with the other parts to make my repairs. I purchased a couple 90 degree elbows and a section of extendable metal vent pipe. I mounted one section of MagVent to the wall outlet and the other parts to the dryer. It has worked great the couple times I’ve had to pull out the dryer. I’m very glad my friend showed me the MagVent. Thanks for such a great product!”

In general, I’m happy with the unit and wanted to let you know that the supplied components all seemed of high quality.  My installation took about 1.5 hours but part of that was adjustments that I needed to make to the existing vent protrusion from the wall.  That took me the most time, trying to get that right.  After that was completed, the attachment of the support ring and the magnetic dock were pretty straight forward.  I had a couple of issues that I needed to address to make it work.

1 - Because my existing vent curved immediately as it went into the wall, the magnetic ring would not seat all the way against the  drywall.  This was a simple fix as I just trimmed about 1/2 of metal off the ring using tin snips.  Simple fix that worked as needed.

2 - The magnetic dock had issues securing to the drywall ring.  This was due to the ring bending slightly outward because the metal tabs of the existing ductwork couldn’t be pushed perfectly flat or removed entirely.  Again, a simple fix.  I simply pushed the ring clips inward slightly.  This allowed the magnetic dock to securely clip into place.

The only other issue I ran into was trying to get the magnetic vent piece to connect flush to the dock.  I had about 1 inch of offset vertically between the vent and the dock and needed to work the vent piece to be in approximately square and vertical alignment before pushing the dryer into position.  This took me several attempts to get it lined up right but once I did, the vent docked correctly and completely.  

All in all, I feel much better about the vent and the fact that it replaced a plastic unit that was susceptible to fire and tears in the plastic that would release lint out the back of the dryer.  It also feels better to not have to try to get behind the dryer to have to connect the vent.  That was always a pain trying to get back there.  

I did watch a couple of your videos to help with the installation.  Those were beneficial.

“When we remodeled our laundry room we had to work with a very confined space for our washer and dryer. I knew there was no room for a standard dryer vent hose so, since I am an engineer, I began to think about what I might fabricate to easily couple the dryer with the vent. Fortunately, I discovered MagVent before I went to the trouble of building a custom made adapter. With the MV-90 I was able to slide my dyer into its very tight space and watch the MagVent magnetically couple with the vent outlet. Really cool! My wife said it was like watching the space shuttle dock in space.
